Ok. Is there a website that tells Epileptics NOT to see a movie? I took my daughter, Drew and Andy to see the first showing of the movie 9 yesterday. (It was AWESOME BTW) There was only one little problem. I have photosensitive Epilepsy. Flashing lights can trigger bad seizures for me. So there is this scene where the Machine takes the Body of number 2 and puts a creature in it that flashes lights and takes over the. . . rag dolls??? So the first volley of flashing with number 8 I survived. When it got number 1, it felt like someone hit me with a baseball bat in the back of my head, and I got up and ran out of the theatre. Lydia was there with Drew and Andy. When I knew the flashing was over, I went back in. I sit down and my little 6 year old daughter turned to me and said "Mommy you are SUCH a sissy la la." I thought Andy was going to choke on his tongue to keep from laughing to loud at me. When we were leaving I asked him, "Is there a website or something that can warn epileptics about this shit?" and he laughed and said, "Yeah, there's an app for that."

Fuckers.

But the movie was AWESOME and the graphics were pretty image heavy. Imagine how to explain to my 6 year old why there are dead bodies all over the place. But my kid RAWKZ and got it. She never even hid her face, and there were some pretty scary images in there!
